This is the story behind the work — and the woman I became to lead it.

Welcome, I’m Glad You're Here!

I’ve walked through many chapters to become the woman writing this today — from casting thousands of stories for national television, to healing and rebuilding my own while raising two daughters and building brands from the ground up.

If you’re reading this, I believe you’re ready to build differently too.

My Story

I didn't find soft power. I remembered it.

I've been building in the middle of motherhood since the very beginning.

2020. A new baby. A global pandemic on the horizon. And something in me that said — now. Build now.

Looking back it sounds a little crazy. But that's the thing about feminine intuition — it doesn't wait for perfect timing. It just knows.

I grew up in Los Angeles, surrounded by the entertainment industry. I studied Cinema, Television and Video Arts at Cal State Northridge — graduating with a BA with an emphasis in Multimedia Production — because storytelling was always where I belonged. What I didn't know was that my most important work wouldn't be behind a camera. It would be in building a life that actually felt like mine.

Since 2019 I've been doing what so many women do and never talk about — building businesses, raising babies, showing up professionally, and trying to figure out how to do all of it without disappearing in the process.

I tried network marketing. I launched clothing brands. I kept my career moving. I created content. I did all the things the courses told me to do. And some of it worked. But a lot of it felt like force — like I was pushing against a current that was never going to move the way I needed it to.

The shift wasn't a single moment. It was slow. It was a gradual returning to myself. To my intuition. To the belief that I didn't need to lead like the loudest person in the room to build something powerful.

Soft power isn't something I discovered. It's something I remembered — in the middle of the chaos, the motherhood, the pandemic rebuilding, and the quiet moments that told me there was another way.

I launched this podcast because something in me said it was time. Not because I had a perfect plan. Just because the calling was louder than the fear.

This is a feminist act. Building softly in a world that rewards force. Trusting yourself in a culture that profits from your self-doubt. Leading from intuition when everyone else is following a formula.

Her Soft Power is my contribution to this moment. And I believe you're here because you're ready to be part of it.

The real behind the brand

What building in the margins actually looks like

My alarm goes off at 5am. The gym is mine before anyone else wakes up — that hour is non-negotiable and I protect it fiercely.

Then it's the morning rush. My five year old is at a private school prep academy — she's in cheer and gymnastics, so there's always somewhere to be.

My two year old is in daycare. Somewhere between drop offs and pickups I get myself ready, sit down, and get to work.

My businesses don't get a clean 9-5. They get the in-between hours. The early mornings. The stolen moments while the kids are at practice.

I build Her Soft Power, Shop Irie Girl, and my web design work from the same desk — sometimes in the same hour.

And that's exactly why The Soft Power Method exists.

Because women like us — building real things inside real lives — need tools that actually work in the margins.

Not a system that requires four uninterrupted hours. A practice that fits the life you already have.
